Biography

Jane Midgley is a public policy analyst who has written extensively on the federal budget, spoken to groups across the country on federal budget priorities, and conducted trainings on women and the federal budget. Her book Women and the U.S. Budget: Where the Money Goes and What You Can Do About It was published in September 2005 by New Society Publishers.

Jane has twenty years of experience as a non-profit leader and manager, including as both Legislative Director and Executive Director of the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (US Section). She currently directs Strategies for Success, providing planning and organizational development services to a wide range of non-profits and community-based organizations, and leadership coaching to executive directors, managers, and individuals.

Jane is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), and is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the ICF. Jane received her BA from Carleton College, served as a Fellow at the Bunting Institute at Harvard University/Radcliffe College, and received her coaching training with the Coaches Training Institute. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Jane Addams Peace Association.
